Extended Usage Agreement

Absolutely no food or drink is allowed in the computer rooms. There is a table inside the main lab door for leaving food and drink items.
For the security and safety of students, all requests for account changes and information require a valid student ID card.
Never use another student’s account or let anyone else use your account. Any violation of this policy will result in loss of privlieges.
For the protection of all users, secure passwords are mandatory. The security of user passwords will be checked on a regular basis; accounts with insecure passwords will be locked. A secure password is a password that does not contain any part of your name or user name and is at least six(6) characters long with at least one upper case character, lower case character, number, and symbol.
Users are NOT allowed to hook up laptops to the ECC network. However, Wireless Access is available in the lab. For more information, please see General FAQ.
Any student may use the telephone, but please limit calls to 3 minutes. Also, please do not beep or page anyone, or have anyone beep or page you–the helpdesk does not take messages.
